Welcome Back
Today students got an opportunity to write about an event that happened during break. They then shared their writing with a partner. Students also created new goals for math and literacy. Ask your child what goals they will be working towards throughout the year.
In math we are learning about patterns. The grade 3s learnt about growing patterns and the grade 4s learned about to solve problems that have patterns in them.
In Social today we started to talk about paleontologist and their role in forming Alberta's past.
- There is no school on Friday
- Alien Inline takes place from Mon - Fri next week. Students must return their forms to participate. Also, students are welcome to bring their own helmet if they already own one.
- The Sprit Day this month is on January 30th. Students are welcome to dress up in their fancy clothes. No need to get out and buy new clothes. Be creative and wear what you already own.
- Jugo Juice Fun Lunch is on Jan 23.
