Subtraction
Today students in grade 3/4 were challenged to answer subtraction questions using base 10 blocks. There is a video that we watch to help us understand the concept of regrouping. You child can practice this strategy (traditional) as well as the break apart, base 10, number line strategy at home. Grade 3 students are expected to solve 3 digit by 3 digit questions and Grade 4 students are expected to solve 4 digit by 4 digit questions.
